Corinne Hitching is a product designer / artist / writer based in the Peak District.

I have been a product/digital/UI/UX et al designer for around 18 years, traditionally trained in print and entering the digital world from the beginning. I have an avid interest in the concept ‘The internet of things’ and believe the internet can empower lives through connectivity, sharing and collaboration. I am trained in SAFe (Scalable Agile Framework) and am quite used to putting these in place. I can design for native iOS and Android as well as large scale responsive websites and react native. I use the industry standard iterate with data design model incorporating the business and customer needs with a dash of creativity to provide the most informed design solution. 

I’ve been around long enough to work in the early days of responsive web, app design and connected devices. I’ve seen our industry go from HTML to React Native, from basic style sheets to web GL. Along the way I have attended conferences and training on accessibility, UX, IA, brand expression and tone of voice online, designing for touch and multi-platform responsive design as well as agile and SAFe processes. I have spoke at The Future of Web Design London on the psychology of web before the days of UX, fighting for clean design and minimal flashing ads. I have been featured on Behance Web Design served, published in the D&AD book for a typographic piece and won a few digital design awards for a number of sites. I’ve taken products from a paper idea to MVP, MMP and full on iterated product. I’ve jumped on products part way through as well as launching start-up products. It’s been a fun and wild ride.
